From the top dropdown menu, select a Rider Favorite like we created in

Find Carpool Route

Enter Rider Zone

Go to your selected Pick Up Station and enter its orange Rider Zone

Tap  CHECK IN 

Submit Payment

If the route requires rider payment, but your balance lacks funds, submit payment via credit or debit card

Tap  Submit Payment  and follow directions

Select Additional Routes

After your Check In is created to your selected Drop Off Station, you may optionally create Check Ins to other Drop Off Stations, which reduces your expected wait time. Priority is to match you to your selected Drop Off

If you require a one-seat ride, tap

 No More Check Ins 

Wait and Renew 

While waiting for a driver, remain in the orange zone and tap

 RENEW CHECK INS  before the timer expires

You can close the app – we'll text you when your Check Ins are about to expire

IMPORTANT: If you decide to stop waiting for a driver, or you leave the orange zone for any reason, tap Cancel Check Ins

Get Match Text

You'll get a text when you have been matched with an approaching driver

Open the Rapid Carpool app

Walk into Pick Up Zone

While keeping the app open, walk into the  green Pick Up Zone 

Find and Board Vehicle

You can now see the location of your driver – and their car description (color, make, model, license plate, etc)

Tap on the Driver's name if you need to call or text them

Tap  Boarded Vehicle  after you have entered your driver's vehicle

Prepare to Depart

Both you and the driver must confirm that you have boarded the driver's vehicle

Please buckle your seat belt

Ready to Depart

When boarding has been confirmed by the driver and each rider, the driver is ready to depart

Trip Underway

Your trip is now underway

Tap  EXIT CAR  when you are dropped off

Thank you for carpooling!

You may provide feedback on the route, the driver, and your fellow riders

If this drop off is not your final destination, you may choose to match with another driver to complete your journey
