Android Troubleshooting

Features

When you are engaged as a driver, after you enter a carpool station's purple Call Zone the app will announce the trip proposal for that station using your Android's speakers (or your car's speakers) as heard in the Driver Video

It's important to hear these announcements – they enable you to keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel while you decide to accept or decline the trip

Also, the app keeps your Android awake while you're driving. This enables you to accept or decline a trip with a single tap after hearing the announcement

If your Android doesn't stay awake while driving, go to Screen timeout

Location Permission

Rapid Carpool requires access to your location in order to confirm your presence at your selected carpool station. You can not drive or ride in a carpool without granting access to your location. (Rapid Carpool accesses your location only while the app is open, not in the background)
